Leaders of tomorrow.

“Perhaps a great future leader or a great genius is with us and his (or her) power will come from the power of the child he (or she) is today. This is the vision that we must have.”

Dr. Maria Montessori

  • “We feel so fortunate that both of our children had the opportunity to attend Oakridge Montessori School. Ms. Lee and her wonderful team of teachers and administrators have created a warm and nurturing place for children to flourish into their very best selves, both personally and academically. They helped our children develop a strong academic foundation, confidence, and sense of self and society that has acted as a spring board to launch them forward on their learning journey. In addition to all of this, Ms. Lee and her team have been extremely generous with their time, support, and expertise in guiding us along onto the next steps in our children’s academic path. We are forever grateful for our time at Oakridge Montessori and cannot speak highly enough for all they have done for our family.”

  • "Both our children (age 7 and 10) are "Lifers" at Oakridge Montessori School. My son attended OM from preschool to Grade 3 and my daughter is still a current student. Oakridge Montessori's commitment to a strong academic foundation and instilling good work ethics from a young age, prepares students to excel in future academic endeavours. The teachers' focus on character development through guiding students to model kindness and empathy for others, teaching them skills necessary to express and regulate emotions, inspiring young children to care deeply not only of their peers but also their communities through volunteerism in charitable events. Another valuable experience for the students are the opportunities to enhance their public speaking and presentation skills throughout the year at the school's Science Fair and Concert performances. As parents, we highly value the close interactions with their teachers, they'll work with you as a team to help the children with academic, behavioral and emotional issues. Being a part of OM is to be a part of a caring community, where the teachers and staff know not only the children but also their families and where the families come together to help out at school. The school also provides lots of fun-filled enrichment programs inside and outside the school through events such as indigenous musical performance, hip hop dancing, educational field trips and outdoor education programs. My son is now in a new school but he will not miss any opportunities to volunteer at Oakridge Montessori as a true testament to how much he loves the school!"

  • "I love going to school everyday at OM because the teachers are very kind and caring. I get to do lots of fun activities at school like science experiments, playing ukulele, baking, arts and craft, holiday celebrations and we even get to go with our friends on super fun field trips!"

  • “As parents, we couldn’t be more thankful to be a part of the Oakridge Montessori (OM) family for the past six years. With the incredible support from Ms. Lee and all of the teachers, our children have grown to be confident, independent and kind. They are curious and eager to make a difference in the world. Parenting is not an easy job, but with the supportive and caring environment at OM, we find a great partnership with the school.”

  • "Thank you (Ms. Lee) for creating Oakridge Montessori. I have learned so much in these four years. I will miss all the great memories I have made at the school, but I know I am also ready to move on. Thank you for teaching me about respect and to always be kind. Just want to say thank you for everything. I will always be a part of Oakridge Montessori and hope I can come back to help the school and teachers in the future."

  • "Leo is truly being set up for success here at OM. The curriculum pushes the kids to reach their potential, while keeping it fun and engaging. I am consistently blown away by the level of work produced and the creative methods of learning available. Leo loves coming to school every day and we feel so supported by all the staff."
